THE MODERN MODELS OF THE FORMATION OF THE INTERNATIONAL DIVISION OF LABOR IN THE DIAMOND INDUSTRY

In this article the results of the study patterns of distribution and functioning of enterprises in all sectors of the diamond complex are formulated - diamond, diamond cutting, jewelry in the international division of labor. Special attention is paid to the functioning of the complex based on the modern models of the international division of labor: intrabranch international trade, the eclectic model of direct investments, the international competitiveness of the nation, the concept of dependence, life cycle of the product. The reasons that determine the appearance and development of each branch of the diamond complex in different states in the considering models are detected. Advantages, disadvantages and overall usefulness of using each of these enumerated classic models for analysis of distribution of enterprises studied branches are shown.
