MAPPING OF GEOSYSTEMS IN BELGOROD REGION: REGIONAL ASPECTS

The experience of territorial-spatial analysis of local level geosystems within the forest-steppe landscape of the South-West of the Central Russian plain in the Belgorod region is presented. Application of the method of interpolation allowed to underline the landscape typological layers and to construct maps of the spatial distribution of terrain types in the isolines, reflecting their share in percent of the total area of the investigated territory. It s determined that the geographical distribution of natural-territorial complexes has a number of regional peculiarities first of all connected with the factors of formation and location in the relief. Regularities of the spatial organization of landscapes in the Belgorod region and landscape analysis of its territory will determine the norms and preferred options of anthropogenic loads of rational approach and using land resources and environmental management in general.
